You are ignoring that they have good builds with Skills and Weapons from different Campaigns and two professions unlike every enemy in "Hells`s Precipicie" and you ignore that in "Hell`s Precipie" henchmen are lvl 20 with elite skill not lvl 10 - 15. That you have a protector monk additionally to a healer monk is another difference between the last mission of Prophecies and WiK. Your argument that someone who beat "Hell`s Precipie" with henchmen will obviously beat WiK with the provided henchmen is void in NM.

That a game should not be easier in "HARD MODE" than in "NORMAL MODE" and ANet obviously didn't think WiK through to avoid that!!! And that beating a foe in Prophecies NM should not be so frustratingly hard that you NEED to buy another Campaign to get heroes and skills.
You mentioned that Kryta is balanced around six characters. NO, it is balanced around 6 characters having around the same level as the foes, which in NM with henchmen is definitely not fulfilled in WiK. Which is the main critique I had in this thread.
Seriously, it is endgame content, tailored for veteran characters of max level. By default, you should have L20 ally and at least EOTN heroes (and imba skills). That is along with some experience more than enough to offset two low-level henchies.

You are also forgeting that previously, this was half L20 area to start with: temple being hub for engame activities and already sported challenging oponents (Cult of Verata) that you simply could-not beat with henches easily.

In fact, NM not beign as easy it is great incentive to grouping: If you replace those low level hences with humans, you are going to get super-easy time in NM.

It is still ballanced, but for 6 human players.

According to the official wiki you need to beat either Prophecies or EotN.

Then why shouldn't it have endgame henchmen?

Wrong. You only need to beat Prophecies to get WiK, so no heroes.a

Thank you for helping me prove my point about rude people... Not once did I say I wanted to spit on other players. lol And this is the very reason for my comment. I'm not a troll... I just choose not to get involved in too many conversations with people like you who have no reading comprehension skills.

I'll break it down into easy to understand terms. Drastically altering (and even removing) content in the game that I paid for and enjoyed, then charging more $ for pretty but useless things does not "excite" me as much as it does others. And since my opinion is different than yours, you resort to calling me names and pretending that I (and my opinion) are beneath your dignity and therefore trivial. I also like how you automatically assume that farmers use macros. That's rich. lol

I couldn't have asked for a more perfect example of the "holier-than-though" attitude... It makes me want to spit. Thanks again.

So basically the ppl who don't want WiK to interfere with existing content want new rewards. Leave everything the same, but give me new and better things for doing it?

If you don't like existing content changing without your express permission then you are going to hate GW2. Change keeps the game fresh. Yes, it may interrupt your easy farms and ability to grind in a time-efficient fashion, but so what? Did you honestly buy the game thinking "I will be able to farm til I drop?"

I'd like to hear how the people who don't like WiK would have done it. Suggesting that the war can be turned off doesn't make any sense to me. It's like wanting to go back to pre. You've moved on, find something else to entertain you.

All change brings about resistance. That's a given. But I have to say that WiK has far more benefits than costs. I can accept that it may not be the case for everyone. If you don't want changes like WiK, however, then you don't want any new content. You just want different bling for doing the same stuff over and over again.

Holy Necro Thread Batman;
Seriously though, I seem to have accidentally Triggered War In Kryta; I had no intention of Launching it certainly I did not pay for the Patch; (so I suppose thats generious).

Just now I was hoping to finish Carting Kryta over the next couple days, preferably without NPCs attaching themselves to my party left right and center unasked. Personally I would much prefer to return to it War in Kryta Later;

So did anyone ever find a solution to the original Question. Is there a way to suspend this Patch once Triggered? Looking through the thread it seems not, but its old and maybe someone has found the solution since. Thanks BB.

You will have to finish The War in Kryta to remove the new spawns. Simply abandoning a quest or a 'Wanted' bounty will not work if you have not finished the content.
As far as I know, this is the only way. It triggers if your character has finished Eye of the North and/or Prophecies.

Seems as though it's changed since I last played. According to the official wiki, you have to trigger it by doing one of the following;

Thanks much! : )
I suspect I must have unwittingly Witnessed Search for Allies Carting Talmark; I'm quite sure I didn't fullfill the other requirements.

Still I can see how players that like to farm were disturbed, as I've seen alot of Npc on Npc fighting just tonight; so I expect the Peacekeepers are wasting alot of drops.

Oh well it is what it is; hopefully the Peacekeepers drops will be better. Thanks again for such a clear and prompt reply. : ) Blessings, BB.
